Alzheimer's is a type of dementia that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. Symptoms usually develop slowly and get worse over time, becoming severe enough to interfere with daily tasks. This video was created in collaboration with McMaster University's Psychology 2NF3 class as a part of a community engagement project. It presents current research on preventative methods used for individuals diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's or those who may be susceptible to develop the disease later in life.

This video is provided for general and educational information only. Please consult your health care provider for Information about your health.

This video was made by McMaster students Aaron H, Adam S, Jolene M, Jassmehar B, and Sara F in collaboration with the McMaster Demystifying Medicine Program
