In this Photoshop tutorial you'll learn how to get more accurate selections for background removal or selective adjustments. You may know about the different rendering options available with the Select Subject Button, but this applies the cloud rendering results as your default version for the program. That way, you can consistently remove backgrounds from photos with more accuracy using this auto-selection method.

Wow. Thank you. I did not even know PS had a cloud version of selection, let alone that you can change the default of the quick select. Thank you again!

Great video! But why wouldn't the cloud option automatically be the default if it's better?

Awesome thanks - but what is the why behind this? If the default is not ideal than why do they even have it? Just open questions.. no need to answer you didn't make the program...lol thanks again

Good recommendation.
However, perhaps using a background layer that was NOT black may have allowed the viewer to see the subject/differences better.
Regardless, thank you for your videos.
