When the attending nurse at my baby's clinic found out we were Nigerian, she was telling us of all the Nigerian dishes she's tried and that she usually travels out of her way just to buy egusi soup from a food vendor. On our next appointment, I brought her egusi soup, beef stew, and pounded yam (fufu). She was really happy.
