SU-30MKM is actually known as the best SU-30 plane, its the first Russian type plane to implemented a western asset making it a Russian/West hybrid.

Because of this, SU-30MKM have a better manoeuvrability and speed while carrying a hell lot of weapon, making it the heaviest fighter plane in South East Asia.

US F18 made many close combat drills with Luftwaffe Mig29 and they said the fair results.
But Su-30 is another scenario. F18 are in no match to them if dog fight.
