I adore Watership Down I've read it multiple times, I'm from England and it is so full of nostalgia for me so that may be why, talking rabbits aren't everyone's cup of tea :)

That Amy Tan book sounds amazing. I really was hoping for the Cats Table or wjatever that one about the voyage....for some reason i really love stories that end up om epic boat trips! I also thought her pretty face sounds good but splo does Let me Lie. The only one ive read is The Kind worth Killing and it waz a quick enjoyable read i didnt think it had enough twists but maybe i was just over hyped.

I read Let Me Lie last month and really enjoyed it - especially the character Murray ❤️ I read Lie To Me last year - this is about a wife who goes missing from her home and all eyes are on her husband. Yes that blurb sounds like Gone Girl but it's not a copycat. I really enjoyed the writing and the characters. The book you described is The Marriage Lie by Kimberley Belle....which incidentally I also read last year and also loved!

The Kind worth killing & Born a Crime were 5 stars for me...also loved Let me lie alot...Now I want to pick up Valley of amazement! I had never heard of this Amy. T. before, so there you go. I am 79 pages into Tangerine, and love the Gothic vibe, how can her writing feel so like Rebecca, or Mary Stewart? How does a writer do that?? I'm Intrigued!

What a great selection! "The Kind Worth Killing" sounds like the Hitchcock movie ""Strangers on a Train". I want to read "In Ruins" and "The Cabin at the End of the World". "Watership Down" is terrific! You have a great read ahead with that one.

Born a crime was SOOO GOOD!! I highly recommend the audio since Trevor Noah narrates it.

The Cabin at the End of the World is one of my favorite books. I recommend it to anyone that will listen.

It’s a shame you didn’t care for Loving Frank. I read and enjoyed it. I think it’s because the book is so close to home. I grew up in Oak Park, Illinois where his studio is and many prairie homes he designed. So to learn about him and his lifestyle is always fascinating.

I started reading Watership Down a few years ago, and never finished it. I donated it because I wasn’t a huge reader at that time. I regret getting rid of it now. I think I would really like it! I love these videos 😊

It's been years since I read an Amy Tan & I loved her. Think I might have to pick another one of hers up now. You've got me in the mood!

I read The Kind Worth Killing last week and was excited to get to it, as I’d always heard such great things about it. It was a let down for me! I guessed the big plot twist everyone talks about early on. Peter Swanson’s books have been lackluster for me, but something always makes me want to read more of them. I watched The Reader, which was adapted into a movie, and it was amazing! So I assume the book is even better. Maybe In Another Life is so so good! You have to read it soon if you can. I love these revisit videos 😊

The Ruins is a good horror read, another book better than the movie, just like Bird Box

I hated Madly, Truly, Deeply. I was really surprised that I gave it three stars because I remember being close to DNFing it. The story idea was quite good it was just the way it was executed. It was quite slow and I remember at one part thinking that I really don’t care about what happened at the barbecue and to be honest I don’t remember that much about it apart from really struggling to get through it. It is a book that has really made me think twice about picking up books by this author even though I have read two of her others and enjoyed them. I enjoyed Let Me Lie but it is a book that you have to put aside the believability in the story. I think that you would like it.

I finished White Bodies earlier this month! I don't know why it took me so long to read!! It is one twisted, strange, crazy, unnerving masterpiece!!! It is SO unique. So disturbing. So different.... I've never read anything quite like it. I literally just lapped it all up in one sitting and was left open mouthed.

LOVED He Said She Said!!
Urrrrgh did not enjoy Truly Madly Guilty though... it was so bland.
Lie To Me was one of my top 5 books from 2018! SO many good ones here April!
I still really need to read Tangerine!
Let Me Lie is good but I Let You Go was my personal favorite!!

I laughed when you said books about affairs just make you mad at everyone. Precisely my feelings, just read a book that takes place after the war in Germany, was soooo mad the author snuck an affair in at the end! Felt misplaced in that story. I haven't read either of your two contenders but I would be tempted to read the Amy Tan book. I did read Boys on the Boat and the Trevor Noah autobiography, loved both. I also read Watership Down but it's been many years!

I really need to read some more Amy Tan! I loved Joy Luck Club, and I have some of her others on my TBR.

Truly Madly Guilty is my least favorite Liane Moriarty that I’ve read. I’ve really liked all of her others except that one.

The Kind Worth Killing was actually disappointing for me and I honestly don’t remember anything about it and I just read it last year 😬

The book that you referenced with the plot line (can't remember the title now, sorry) being a wife discovering that her husband was on a flight that he wasn't supposed to be on when it crashed. I believe that book that you're referring to is The Marriage Lie by Kimberly Belle. I listened to this on audio last year and rated it 3 stars. Shame on me for not writing a Goodreads review, because now I can't remember my reasoning for giving it that rating.
