I love videos like this! Lala's closet unhauls are some of my favorite videos ever. My first haul was in July or August 2013 and oh boy... I actually remember a lot of the books from my first hauls and I know for a fact that I've barely read any of them... but at least they're all books I'm still interested in. I am not good at reading what I own because I'm a mood reader and a library user.

Really enjoy these videos, a few people have done this format in the last few months and I always find it fascinating. You’re the first one who a) still has the majority and b) didn’t hate them/was scathing about every single one. It’s refreshing!

Love the idea behind this. I glanced back at my first haul and have done much more poorly at reading all my hauled books (granted, my first was in 2016) -- Hope you do more of these!

Hahahaha! This was such a fun video. But most of all, I couldn't agree more about Walden. I don't know how many times I've tried reading that book and I get stuck at about 5 pages in.

I just recently bought the giver quartet. I got the omnibus edition from Amazon. It's really nice. I have not read it yet. I have read the first two. I loved the giver but wasn't super thrilled with gathering blue and I didn't know it was going to be a quartet at the time I read them. I have heard good things about the quartet though.

I love these kinds of videos. It's so interesting. I think the video where I talk about the Giver is also my most watched bookish video. xD I always wondered why. I read the Giver in school and then decided I wanted more of this world. I thought Son was a bit of a disappointment though. The other books are great.

Also if you're getting rid of books try #booksfortrade on Twitter as you may be able to get some swaps or people can buy/pay postage. I use it loads for my arcs and finished copies I get rid of

I got The Casual Vacancy at FotL earlier this year and I still need to pick it up. "I was young and I expected the eighth book in the Harry Potter series. Which we got, and it sucked." YES. I freaking hate Cursed Child.

Loved this! I like doing these types of videos, but since my tbr has gone down to like under 40 books... i bet every haul would be me just saying how i bought them and then 2 years later unhauled OOPS
