Back n the day when I worked at a wholesaler in VaBch, we fed the plecos squash and zucchini cut in half the long way, and kept athe bottom with a rock and rubber band. They love it. Plecos are best with a powerful powerhead, they love that current.

Man. I've watched 30 of your videos in a row. Youve reignited my spark for having fish! I bought a 10 gallon tank and put 4 glofish in it a few years back. I went the chemical route with frequent weekly cleanings and water changes and weekly treatments. I kept them for just under a year before my father accidentally killed my fish. I think i may just start back up. I just need to learn how without all the chemicals and tank cleanings/water changes.

My boss (I'm a pet groomer at Petco) had her father die recently and he had a giant Pleco that she wasn't confident to take care of. I would have taken him, but didn't have the space since I have 1 10 gallon and 1 30 gallon in my apartment already. Petco bent the rules and let her rehome him while they housed him temporarily. She would walk by and give him a morsel of squash or carrot or non salted seaweed chips. Someone adopted him for a 125 gallon and she got to meet the new owner and discussed the favorite food.

With all due respect, I'd like to add a cautionary tale with the no boiling, FF. If the veggies are home grown and pesticide-free then yes, no boiling is needed. Otherwise, thorough washing and parboiling is helpful to remove the residual pesticides. I killed two of my fish with store-bought, uncooked veggies.
