I respect the nanotech armor suit because it goes along with Tony's character development. But the Mark 3 suit up is epic as hell.

Nanotech is cool and all but you gotta admit the satisfaction of hearing metal click in the older movies

I never realized until much later, but Tony's second suit in Avengers 1 pinpointed the exact time he transitioned from suits he needed outside robotic assistance to suits he could get in and out of himself.

I like the concept of nanotech, but I would prefer the nanobots to just come together to form the pieces. These pieces get arranged as more nanobots form more pieces, until the suit is completely assembled. Kind of a mix of the Mark 7 and Mark 85 transformations.

Not sure if anyone feels the same, but the first movie was just so different and special. It also really put into perspective how powerful he'd become. I mean the first film he hung with basically our best planes, and took a shot from a tank.
