I learned my general orders by writing them out, in CAPS, since that’s how you will write out your logs, then I started mixing them up like writing out 2nd, then 11th general order and so on, also flash cards will help out as well, I ship out March 3rd, 2020! :)

I leave for boot camp on July 1st, and I chose OS, how I learned the sailor’s creed is my sister who is a petty officer 3rd class, she would chunked things at me, I learned the 11 general orders, my recruiter told me to memorize a few at a time, I am also a military brat so I know most things, but not all things

i was in njrotc for 2 years until i moved and we needed to remember to general orders and ranks for inspection . What i did to remember them was write each of them down on a peace of paper and kept on reading it. The 7-11 general orders were hard to remember so i kept on writing them down and watching hours long videos of a bot or i think someone saying it. Rn im between national guard army or navy i have no idea.
