What if the tool coner radius and the wall coner radius are different when creating a swap toolpath?

When you bring in your solidmodel, do you have to transform/ translate it to line up with where the top WCS is in mastercam or can you get away with creating a new work offset on the feature you want it on wherever the solid models ends up dropping in at? It been a minute since I have worked in mastercam.
