I should have listened to Dr McD about avoiding screening mammograms! I had one in Jan, was told it was suspicious so had another one a few weeks later and radiologist came in and told me I needed biopsy. Went to surgery and he scheduled a breat biopsy for the following week. Had that done and finally the last day of February I was told it was just normal calcifications. Cost me $340 after insurance paid and 2 months of fear! Nope, not having another one unless I feel an actual lump! Wasted money, time and fear.

Great timing regarding the colonoscopy. Have just had my appendix out after it exploded, and a small resection to part of my bowel. They surgeon wants me to have a follow up colonoscopy in about a month as I had sepsis and he wants to make sure there are no other problems. I will get it done this time .

I’m interested in his views on vaccines, he makes it pretty clear.
I was exposed to the shingles virus when my husband developed a case of shingles on his trunk, I wonder if my exposure to his shingles rash would have a similar, albeit weaker, affect as a vaccine
