Here’s why this scene actually makes sense:

The first electric guitar was created in 1936, and seeing that Battle Tendency takes place in 1939, it makes sense. But why would a 20, 000 year old being who just awoken know what it was? Well they’re perfect life forms, plus Kars mentioned how they were going to explore the changes in the world in one episode, which meant Kars probably observed an electric guitar in the time of Joseph training
