I like it that you've tested the GPU not just with gaming but also with another GPU-intensive task - in this case, video editing. I don't game at all, but I am using graphic-intensive things on my laptop (like loading up huge vector graphics), and I wish reviewers would have at least mentioned this side of GPUs.

I pre-ordered and got this 3 weeks ago with the same specs. Im so happy with this laptop. It is by far the best laptop I have ever owned or seen. It is flawless for someone working in Coffee Shops all day. I do alot of graphic art work for websites. I coudlnt be happier. This is the laptop I always dreamed about.

Nice to meet you.I am a Japanese male.I'm torn between this model and the MacBook Air 15"...great review and very informative.I want to make vlogs with video editing on da Vinci, but it is difficult for me to sit at my desktop and work slowly.I have found that this is the perfect solution for me in such an environment.I send my thanks from a distant island country.(I'm using a translation app, so I'm sorry if it's hard to understand.)

As for upgradability with the SSD. I'm using mine now "have had it for over a week" and was able to upgrade to a 2280 4tb Samsung 990 Pro just fine. It's a sung fit but overall it works.

So happy to see that the layout remains unchanged. All other manufactures appears to have moved completely over to the US layout, which doesn't work at all in EU.

Why did they leave so much empty space under the battery? They should have put a bigger battery.

Its strange they didnt use the space on the bottom. You could fit a one sided 2280 SSD btw, it should fit. The Power button on the side is such a bad choice that lasted for way too long lol

Would the 14 inch ryzen ai 9 365 be better at that type of a use case? Looking forward to your insights.

Hey. Thanks for such a good review. I’m very curious about what video editing. You said it’s good for light video editing. I make music videos for my band with 1080p footage from a mirrorless camera and iPhone footage for B roll on davinci resolve and filmora. I’m currently using an hp envy 16 with a 4060gpu. But I don’t like the warmth and often fan noise when doing even simple editing.
Can the slim 7i aura do this type of editing and rendering smoothly and easily?

Lastly, any suggestion for a laptop with the same cpu and arc graphics but without a shiny screen?

Hi, . Can you elaborate on what you mean by touch pad sort of rattle? at 11:35? I ordered mine and returned it due to touchpad / mouse pointer kind of stutters or lags and the response of the touchpad/mouse pointer felt slow. I am just wondering if that i what you experienced.. Thanks.

Are these compact SSDs slow? Lenovo do not seem to allow any upgrades to the SSD. I would normally select a performance SSD.
