Furret technically meets our requirements to title the video "BAD" because it doesn't have a niche even in the lowest tiers in almost every generation. However, I think "How UNFORTUNATE" is more fitting since its bad but it isn't meant to be strong like Regigigas or Slaking. Also, its so darn cute, its unfortunate its so bad.

Let's be honest, while Furret was completely useless when it comes to competitive play, it'd be one of the most popular pets if pokemon were real.

And the weird thing is, there is someone at Game Freak that knows how dire Furret's situation is and it's desperate to make it stand out, look at its moveset on its latest appearence:
* It learns Me First and Hyper Voice despite Furret not being fast or with enough Sp. Atk for those moves
* It learns Follow Me and Helping Hand, Double battle-exclusive moves
* Its evolution move (usually reserved for Pokémon-defining moves like Chesnaught's Spiky Shield) is... Agility.
My guess is that it's supposed to be a Baton Passer as it learns Agility, Amnesia and most recently Coil. I genuinely belive giving Furret Friend Guard would straight up fix most (realistically, some) of its problems at make it at least worth considering.

I'm fairly certain Furret's height is actually supposed to be its length, measured from head to tail like a snake. It's the same reason why Pokemon like Ekans, Arbok, Dratini, Dragonair, and Dunsparce are so freakishly tall in the Pokedex.

It actually did get a buff in gen 5. It got its signature Accumala Town theme to go on a stroll too

Furret needs a Normal-Ghost type regional variant with higher Attack and Speed, and a signature physical Ghost move with 120 power that involves walking cutely and then striking.
