Aquascape Tutorial: TINY 2.6 gal NATURE Aquarium (How To: Step By Step Nano Tank Guide)

This tiny aquarium has been sat and over run for too long. It's only 2.6 gallons so not really suitable apart from fry, shrimp and i've had chili rasbora fish in there before as well. Anyway, one day I was looking at it thinking "I'd like to do a nature aquarium in there" but then immediately thinking it was too small....well, it's not to small, it's just difficult. And if something is difficult, then we should try to do it...so i have 😃

one of the many things I love about your videos MD is that you always show the tank and all its occupants from every angle, wide shots, mid shots and close-ups. I'm never frustrated having to pause the video trying to see something. Too many fishtubers either don't show enough close-ups, or only show close-ups and never what the whole effect looks like. Your videos are just perfectly satisfying 😊 I guess it helps that you've perfected your set-up. The nano rack looks amazing!

From India, I must say that I got inspiration to have a planted tank only by seeing your videos. Thanks for helping us to learn,

Who would even dislike this? 🤦🏼‍♀️
Love your work, my hubby and I love watching your videos in the evening before bed to get ideas and inspiration. Much love from a Canadian in the UK ❤🍁🇬🇧

Beautiful 👏 I have trouble getting stems in easy like you do with the tweezers. I use weights to keep them down. I cant seem to pull the tweezers out without pulling individual plants back out but somehow you get them planted seaminglessly using tweezers. Maybe my hand shakes too much from chronic health issue. I will keep watching you and practicing. Thanks for another creative scape vid.

Damn, MD - your tanks, even the ones that which you are the most critical, all look beautiful. You’re more than an aquarist, you are an artist creating living artwork - an “artquarist” or something along those lines. Keep on - your aquaria are fantastic and your production quality is truly top shelf all the way.

The thing I like about your channel man is that everything is not ADA, Twinstar expensive equipment. Nice beautiful scapes with affordable equipment.

Hey MD,
I recently started following you because you were recommended by a friend. And I absolutely love your videos. Because of you aquascapes I now have 2 aquariums which I absolutely love, you had given me so many ideas on how to scape them. Keep going!!

Re: the problem with your shrimp tanks could be your plant fertilizer, the liquid one.. it has copper in it and copper is toxic to shrimp. Hope this helps.

Omg!! That looks awesome. I have 4 x 2.5 galons and now im inspired to use them for shrimp haha. Personaly I would not put a betta in anything less than a 5 galon.

Work of art. I'll try to do the exact same. Hey, your aquariums are a million times better than your competition. Thanks for working your magic.
