He was adopted by a black mother, his siblings are black and he was raised in a predominantly black neighborhood. He isn't acting black to win money, he's simply a white man from an urban community, who grew up around mostly black people.

The white guy in the video I heard was actually adopted by a black family and thus grew up with black culture. Explains why he did so well. Edit: he also grew up in a socio-economic environment that is more common for black people in the US to relate too.
