Course Description

Objective:
During this class, students will get to experience the environment pipeline creation from start to finish. Going from an initial idea, block in phase, asset creation, lighting, and presentation. This will allow them to familiarize themselves with all the software packages that are used during production. The goal of the class will be to create several high-quality assets that will come together to create one cohesive scene that is well presented.

Software covered in this class:
-Maya, Marmoset Viewer, Substance Designer, Substance Painter, Zbrush, Mudbox.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Pre-reqs: Knowledge of Maya, ZBrush, Substance; other course prereqs include Intro to Production Modeling and Vegetation & Plants for Games

Lecture Type: Pre-recorded
Assignment: Deadlines each week.
Feedback: Individual Recordings
Q&A: Once a week.

*For classes with fewer than 6 students feedback may be provided during the live QandA session.

is this course still relevant in 2021? i mean the workflow, and all the knowledge they apply on it, i mean the game industry is constantly changing, thats why im asking and also because im new to 3D. btw sorry for my bad english

is this for complete noobs with little or no knowledge or people that are already swimming in the knowledge. I am a environment art but still not at the level I want to be
