Home Automation with Speechly

Home automation is a typical voice user interface use case and a lot of people are happily using smart speakers for home automation.

However, if the utterances are more complex containing a lot of commands in the same utterance, these platforms will often fail. This is due to how these platforms are set up. They only do the action user required after the user has stopped speaking.

Speechly is a fully streaming Spoken Language Understanding API that returns actionable results from the moment the user starts speaking. This enables the user to use arbitrarily long utterances and even correct themselves during the utterance by saying something like "Turn off the living room, I mean kitchen light".
