I use that regularly in sparring, works beautifully almost every time. Although i lack the flexibility for consistent head kicks so i kick the torso instead! 😅 Thanks for sharing! 😊

It doesnt seem like the hook is supposed to really land with a lot of power, seems like more of a setup for the kick. But why kick to the head if you have already made your opponent lift his arms to protect his head? Wouldnt a round kick to the body or possibly across both legs (since you have the angle) make a bit more sense?

Would this work with a left hook to a backleg headkick (right for me) and then you alsl take out the stance switch? Cool combo this one too!

Started Muay Thai about a month ago but my legs just don’t have that dexterity of flexibility to kick high in a roundhouse, I can front kick above the head even but roundhouse always comes in just under the shoulder
