Rick sacrificing himself for Morty will always be a reminder that no matter how smart a person can be, They will always have a heart.

Rick’s message was meant for morty he just made it out to be noob noob because he struggles to show his emotions. The machine wouldn’t have worked if it was meant for noob noob

Rick admitting to Jerry that he's at least partially responsible for Jerry's divorce and agreeing to make amends … right before the Whirly-Dirly takes off and Jerry tries to undo the assassination attempt against Rick.

That moment you remember that, when Rick wanted all of his toxins purged, he thought his niceness was a weakness...One step forward, Rick, 2 steps back...

What about the time Rick erased Jerry's memory of the horrific memories from the talking cat's mind? That could've been an honorable mention.

I find it nice that in the detoxifying episode, after Toxic Rick said he “didn’t give a shit” about Morty, Rick responded “I know you give shit, because I don’t”, he later fuses with Rick to save Toxic Morty, proving he does care at least a little about Morty, enough to fuse with, in his opinion, his unbearable counterpart.

When he is being nice he has a much softer voice, especially when comforting poor little morty, though rick pushes away summer the most because she is tthe only person who understands his bullshit. Watch matpats videos they’re so great on analysing bits of seasons, individual episodes or characters. :P

8:11 as a side note, the fact rick created a system oof letting morty be the one to choose the adventure every 10 adventures.

The scene where Rick is really kind to Morty and kills King Jellybean after what happened was so nice, this show is normally pretty dark but that was a genuinely nice scene.

I think the biggest takeaway from that last one was that even Rick, in all his genius, still doesn't know definitively if god exists or not. Which is really interesting if you think about it.
