I never believed he could actually pull a distorted sound so well from an acoustic. I thought the director was careless on making this video. Then i see them play live decades ago on Craig Killborn and he had his acoustic. I was thinking, "this aughta be good" and sure enough, you couldn't really tell he was electrifying an acoustic. It sounded great! I love how he rolls his eyes when he can't mouth "gun." It reminds me of David Bowie and Trent Reznor in the video for "I'm Afraid of Americans." The lyrics go, "Johnny combs his hair, and Johnny likes pussy and cars." And Bowie was in the back of the cab that ominous Trent was driving, and he had to turn his head when saying, "pussy." He tried to not laugh, but you can see how stupid he thinks it was to censor that.
