Honestly, that looks perfect to me. Some like their lamb a little more rare, but this is exactly how i like it 👌

I had to come back and comment as soon as I ate my lamb .. I didn't follow the recipe exactly but I did follow the cooking instructions. This was the BEST lamb iv ever had . Thank you for sharing your skills as it's allowed me to creat a skill for myself 😊

This is what I have been wishing to find. Thank you for your easy simple but delicious roast lamb recipe🎉

Best tasting lamb and the easiest recipe ever! The hardest part was finding a bone-in leg of lamb.

Making this again for the 5th time now, absolutely delicious, can’t wait until dinner time! For the jus I did 4 cups of Campbells beef broth and 1 cup water, I accidentally evaporated all the jus when I took the foil off the first time I made this recipe :’) I rub the leg in chopped rosemary from the garden, grated minced garlic, oil, oregano, salt and pepper, garlic and onion powder with smoked paprika - served with roast veg in a seperate roasting tray. I add some jus from the lamb to the veg for extra flavour - it’s the only way my partner eats sweet potato :’) so delicious! Thanks Nagi! Can’t wait for the cookbook!

Looked dry. 325 is way to high to cook for that long.

Want to do the same, looks very delicious

Timing and temp for a 1 kg leg of lamb and should I reduce the amount of broth and water too?
manishbabbar
Do you put it back in the oven to roast for 40 minutes. What temperature do you roast it at
johnn
Why when you say put the fat side up do you show on video the good side is up when covering with foil.?
brianelliot
I did the recipe. 40min roast is overkill : it makes the meat dry. Which is too bad because the flavor is really nice.
I'm trying again now without this step. Will keep you updated.

I read the temp wrongly and cooked the lamb at 120C instead of 170c it was absolutely perfect, really nice joint and lovely gravy.

As others have said, followed the recipe to the T for Easter and the lamb was divine! So easy to do and the meat fell off the bone. Won’t do it any other way now; thank you! ❤

Cant really call it a slow roast if hr cooking at 170c. Just cooking it for ages no wonder it looked dry

Looks awesome and cooked extremely well. Ignore the people with their side comments. They must start a you tube channel to showcase their talent. 😂

I did this last year for Easter and im doing again for family this Easter.
Everybody loved it and even asked for seconds. Thank you so much for making this video.

This was such an amazing recipe!! I have tried to roast lamb for years and I never got it this soft, juicy and flavourful! Also! I have never been able to make gravy because I always run out of liquid in the pan; this made sure I had the most delicious juices at the bottom of the pan for gravy! Your recipe was so straightforward and the whole family was impressed! Thank you!

Cutting lines into top helps flavor soak in too

What a lovely lamb. Thank you for doing this.

I kind of like pink meat. I'd keep the fat and scraps in the gravy. The fat is what makes it taste good. Of course, I'd get it from a good farm.
