Did Razer Just Make the Perfect Mouse?

Razer are responsible for creating what many consider to be the first ever gaming mouse.

They’ve manufactured gaming peripherals longer than just about anyone else, and have produced some of the most popular products in the entire world. But none of their creations are quite as iconic as the DeathAdder.

For years, the DeathAdder has been one of the most popular head clickers in esports. From League of Legends to Valorant, pros have made history with this mouse in their hands.

Razer has released several new and upgraded DeathAdders over the years - and it all culminated in this: The DeathAdder V3 Pro. Razer claim it’s lighter, more ergonomic and better than ever before.

But is this new DeathAdder really worth the hype?

Stax kissing his mouse is one of the coldest moments in VCT history.

The moment they mentioned Faker using the Deathadder i knew they were going to plug in that Ryu clip. You never fail !

Viper still my favorite to this day
Once I plugged that mouse in… it blew my mind how different it felt playing from the first generic gaming mouse I had.

EDIT: The wired DAV3 is finally here for half the price of the Pro and it's bloody excellent!
The DA 2013 was my first ever gaming mouse and i loved it, but it started double clicking after just about a year and a half of use. The right flare also interfered with my ring finger when i grip the mouse as i keep my ring finger straight. Now that Razer has finally fixed those 2 issues, i suppose i will save up to buy the V3 Pro.

Wireless Viper Ultimate is by far my favorite but I might have to check this out. Used a Deathadder Elite V2 for quite a while but this Viper is just incredible

I've been using viper mini since it came out ( 2½ years I think) and I still think it's the best I could get myself cause of budget issues and after knowing Trent used it in vct I could relax and not worry about upgrading and wait till my unit die out.

Been rocking my DAV3 with the 4K Hz polling dongle for the past 3 months now and have been enjoying using it since. It very light weight and no matter what grip I use I feels right for both claw and palm grip. And the responsiveness is incredible. The only down side that I did notice was the battery life when using the 4K hz mode giving me roughly a days use before needing to charge but that didn’t bother me much because I just charge it every night. Would recommend to anyone trying to find a new gaming mouse in the current market.

I use razer Deathadder since 2011, and I completely love this mouse! besides the Zowie, there is no other one with that perfect shape and sensors...

I’ve always used deathadder, even when I strayed away to steel series I swapped back, biggest complaint is the hardware, my left click always breaks first I’ve gone through attests 5 of them

I've heard people had issues with the switches since they are "cheap".

Still can't decide between Viper V2 Pro or this, hopefuly they release a Viper Mini Pro.

Update: I bought the Viper V2 Pro a few weeks ago and so far I've been loving it, along with the Superglides and a Razer Strider it feels so smooth.

The scroll wheel issues are just a razer thing in my experience, I have used a basilisk, naga trinity and viper ultimate, I take good care of my stuff but always there was something wrong with it after a year or two (yes had multiple replacements with razer support because of this).
The one issue that was consistent on ALL of them, was scroll wheel issues...
Now my viper ultimate's side button and scroll wheel broke and I'm kind of done trying razer for the next year or so...
Bought an Xtrfy M42 (yes switched from wireless to wired) and I'm happy with my purchase a month in.
We'll see how that goes!

Deathadder 2013 was my first mouse, switched to viper mini. I have big hands and the mini was too small. Recently bought the V3 Pro and my aim almost immediately much better/consitent. If nothing goes wrong this will be the best mouse I've owned.

They really found another reason to put the Ryu clip in a video, props to that.

It's funny how all mice or slowly moving back to the shape and design of the original OG: The Intellimouse 3.0..which was the original gamer mouse everyone used alongside with their Icemat in CS 1.6. Best ergonomic mouse ever that was unfortunately never made wireless

i bought the deathadder in 2014, finally had double clicking issues with it at the beginning of 2022 and upgraded to the v2 pro, such a great mouse

as someone who owned the following mice:
- glorious model o
- razer viper v2 pro
- zowie ec3-c
- endgame gear xm1
- 2 copies of the g pro x superlight (both had double clicking issues)
- steelseries sensei ten
- pulsar xlite v1 & xlite v2 mini

yes, it is the perfect neutral mouse for someone who likes ergo. i feel more locked in with the ec3-c because it's smaller but the deathadder v3 pro is much more comfortable for me.

a vaxee outset ax wireless or a deathadder v3 pro mini would probably be the only mice for me that would replace the dav3 pro. i owned the xlite v2 mini beforehand and it was quite the adjustment but i felt right at home after 3 days. tbf though i only switched from the v2 mini because it got bricked, but the quality difference is definitely there.

to summarize, this mouse is great. it's $150 yeah, but i can see why especially when it goes up against logitech's and i think this mouse is a better deal over the gpx superlight 2. i got mine used for $90 so i really recommend everyone who's wary of the price to get it used off amazon. you could always return it if it's a dud.

9:00 Scroll wheel for jumping feels so unnatural to me so its not a issue, but also its a very light encoder so the steps aren't as defined. Haven't had any issues with mine.

Just got mine last weekends, and boy this mouse really something. I am a gamer for 20 years now with mouse and keyboard (Yes, I am that old). This the first mouse I feel the real ergonomic mouse and the build really premium, the mouse feel on your skin really good. Yes pricy but you get what you paid for.

i also had the mousejumps some times. lately i havent noticed it, i did change from 800 to 750 dpi because it felt faster than my superlight.
