There you go with some Central and Eastern European Christmas classic: faworki. Leftover pierogi (dumplings) dough is deep-fried in ribbon shape and then eaten either sweet with powdered sugar or seasoned with some garlic and spices. An ideal snack, light enough after all those heavy holiday foods and also practical as it's made with the leftovers.

Personally, I really like deep fried foods... potato chips, fries, pork, chicken... it's all delicious! However, something I am really fond of and order every now and then when I have Chinese is Asian tiger shrimp - deep fried, of course, served with a sweet & sour sace and rice. Love it!
