I usually use the 10mm 135 gr Nosler hollowpoint @ 1600 fps mv from Underwood. Underwood has 10mm loads with 135, 150, 180, 200 and 220 gr bullets. Their 200 goes 1300!

If you have large hands the 15 round mag extension conversation works perfectly for getting a good grip and control.

I’m really torn between a 29 or a 20sf for a hiking gun. I would have to think the recoil with a hot big game load out of the 29 is terrible.

Love my Glock 29 and my FN 510, use Glock 20 mags in my 29 with a shelve 15 rounds

How's the recoil? I'd want the full frame. I have the SA XDM 4.5" Full size. Not great for carry. The grip is massive but the recoil is very manageable. Feels more like a .40. The Glock is light. I've shot my friend's 27 a bunch and it is snappy to me. I've shot the Walther PPS in .40 and it is really snappy.

My go to ccw have a Streamlight tlr-7 and trijicon hd xr night sights with the yellow front post…..love it! I rock the underwood 135 grain hollow point and yes! You definitely feel the power!

Do your mags drop free in your 29? All of the 29s I've handled needed some persuasion for the mags to drop all the way.

Dude they sell a dovetail exactly made for the backside to give more grip check it out. A must have purchase for this.

Always use the Glock factory application Copper colored Bronze Oilite ball bearings lubricant Grease. Stop using wet and messy oils that migrate and splash. The copper colored Bronze Oilite will ensure long term lubrication of the Slide and Frame.
