I personally keep mine stock for the best reliability, but I couldn’t agree more. Packs the punch of .40 but the grip ability of the 26. Micro subcompacts aren’t as easy to hold ironically as some of these older carries. Just goes to show the amount of thought that went into these guns aside from “get it as small as possible.” And did I not mention: it’s in .40 cal? Hell yeah.

Great choice. This or the Glock 29 are the best truck guns. 10mm, 40s&w, and .357 sig are the elite handgun calibers.

I don’t need to worry about concealing the gun in my SUV, so I use a Glock 17 as my “Truck Gun”. But having said that, having a smaller gun in a vehicle is good too just in case you didn’t carry and now you have an option. As long as you have a holster in your vehicle as well.

Plus I have a 47, so if my 17 goes missing with my SUV (in a lock box), I won’t be too sad.

How is it a glock 26 when you changed barrel and slide? Only the lower is a glock product.

I take my 11.5 inch AR as a truck gun and my vest with level 4 plates and 3 spare mags for the AR. I figure if I need anything more than the 46 rounds of 9mm I carry with my Glock 19 the problem I am facing prolly won’t be solved by another pistol and I’d feel a lot more comfortable knowing my lungs and heart will be protected against gunfire. That’s my truck setup.

Arp's in low grain 223 hps with js the buffer and a 7.5 barrel at most for a truck gun is a great option, since their too big and dumb to edc on you. And its a truck gun, your still getting more accuracy than a handgun with that ARP but like i said its a truck gun you dont need insane accuracy
