Such great content and honest experiences. Loved this! Looking to go for my 25th anniversary and I'm so torn between the two properties. Also heard the Intercontinental is very nice. Thank you for sharing!

You have convinced me to go to St. Regis! 😍 My husband and I are snorkeling people so that would be our priority, I was also glad to hear that there are more gluten free food available because I have celiac disease. Bucket list Destination has been unlocked for me 😁

Love this comparison and very helpful to first timers.

Just came back from Four Seasons Bora Bora in August. We had an assigned staff member who checked us in plus on-demand concierge via the app, 24/7. It was amazing and spoiled us. Anything we wanted, they got or did for us. We had great service while there. We got complimentary beach bags, flip flops and hats. Our room had 2 robes (white towel robes next to tub and the blue lounge-y shorter robes next to shower). Not sure why they did not. We loved this nice touch. FS did the towel swans and roses on the bed and for my birthday surprised me with a whole amazing set up with complimentary food and drinks. We also got a departure gift as we left.

Food: FS has 4 main restaurants - Terra Nui which hosts the breakfast buffet and all the specially programmed dinner activities. Loved the breakfast buffet and you can order custom items too. Eggs, waffles, pancakes etc. It can get monotonous if there longer than say 5 days. Fare Hoa bar & Grill for lunch, drinks and all day by the pool. Dinner options: Four Seasons' fine dining restaurant Arii Moana. The food is delicious, presentation is exquisite. Think seafood on shells or puddings on coconuts with a live pianist. It's elevated, artsy and creative fine dining. The new manager just hired a new chef from FS Vietnam who will revamp their Vaimiti restaurant (more casual dinner spot with view of Mt. Otemanu) which is their casual dinner restaurant with an Asian focus. FS also offered room service to your room which is good to try at least once. Room service presentations go above and beyond. Note: Portions are large so often you can family style and share.

Rooms: The OWB at FS is dreamy. This couple is 100% correct. The tub at FS is superior to that of SR (you can see it from her video). FS tub opens up to the lagoon so you get that indoor-outdoor, tub-with-a-lagoon-view experience and it's much larger. We took advantage of that tub everyday. You get his and hers sinks with cool lit mirrors that are dimmable, robes by the shower and robes by the tub. Room is large with a bedroom that opens out to the outdoor dining room and living room, office area that opens out to lounge chairs. Plus jumping into the water directly and seeing Mt. Otemanu beats (in my opinion) the beach villas.

Activities: The beach and motu, pool, spa, chapel and private lagoon with amazing marine life. They have a full time marine biologist on staff. Took us two days to explore it all because it's huge like a maze. FS has a beautiful spa with incredible views (one of the ocean and the other of Mt. Otemanu). The pool of FS is stunning. Their pool service was fun and top notch. Plus their cabanas, a dream! Everyday there was a free something - free drink, free popsicles, free cookies. Subtle, little touches that made everyone feel special. FS has a daily boat to Viatape for $20 RT so not that expensive but Vaitape is touristy. If you like pearl shops and a pretty small tourist-centric town then go. Do not miss the FS scavenger hunt. You will get a cute little gift. There is also a gym with a stunning view of the ocean. The spa/gym/gazebos area is another little gem to relax or workout in.

If there's one thing not to miss in Bora Bora, it's the full day lagoon boat tour from 9a-3:30p. We booked ours through trip advisor and saved a little money (FS uses same vendor for more), shout out to Nico our awesome guide. You will get to explore all of Bora Bora, swim with whales, sharks, manta rays and a stunning massive coral reef and end with a delicious buffet lunch at a private island. After lunch you can swim at the beach or nap at the many lounge chairs peppered around the island. That was an amazing day.

Two nights is ok but rushed. It won't allow you to fully enjoy the all that FS property has to offer: bespoke Polynesian nights, the surprise fire throwers, the employees who put on a show, the stargazing with Django or native activities like flower crown making or weaving. Or even working out in the spa gazebos. I think looking at their videos, it's better to do SR first then FS last if you want to check out both properties. Overall I agree that quiet, old money, luxury vibe is correct for FS. Ages were young to old, families with kids to couples. FS had a lot of space, it never felt crowded. It's best to go for at least 5 days to fully enjoy it. There is a reason why FS is the #1 resort in all of Bora Bora. Highly recommend it. Best time to visit late Aug-Oct.

Such great info! My wife and I love your videos. You provide a TON of info but one thing that would be nice is if you included a bit of travel info (from L.A. would be nice) so viewers know what it takes to get there. Love your posts, thanks so much!

If you were to go back, would you go FS or St Regis?
How many days would you recommend in each if we wanted to split?

To go from four seasons to St regis, can you get a boat transfer directly from one hotel to the other or do you have to go back to the main dock near the airport?
