This series seeks to train your eye for spotting an unmarked queen in the hive. Even with a marked queen in your hive you should be prepared to see another queen, it happens!!

Queens are great at blending in!
Drones are often confused for queens. It is helpful to learn to find the queen, for splits , inspections, re- queening or diagnosing problems in the hive.
Queen spotting or Finding the Queen videos are great for improving your spotting skills.

This frame of bees were barely moving. I didn't spot her till you showed her. Thanks for the practice.

That was tough lol I had to rewind it, I was scared you'd show us so I rewound it when it asked if we saw her, finally I saw the bee walking sideways on the comb..gotcha lol I had to rewind twice!! These are fun!!!

This one was tough. The one i originally thought was the queen turned out to be her but since im doing this on my little phone i 2nd guessed and didnt think i was right. I rewound many times trying to figure out where she was only to find out she was where i thought she was lol
