It’s unfortunate this stone was found and exposed to be in DRC as this country’s rapacious and myopic leaders have a horrendous history of basically handing their national resources over to foreign countries for next to nothing whilst they experience zero economic benefit.

Hey Wongel! DRC and Zambia signed a memorandum of understanding with the US to surrender their mineral rights not so long ago. This is a mesmerizing discovery but I'm extremely worried about the Congolese people, hopefully they will have someone who will deliver good governance and leverage the best deal not just for Congo alone but for Africa...
