AMALFI COAST ITALY BUS INFORMATION

This video will take you to the Amalfi Coast Italy and show you how to buy a bus ticket and get on the bus. More bus schedule information is below. This bus is going from Amalfi to Positano. Get on the bus Gus!

How can I purchase bus tickets?
You can buy tickets from any partner displaying the SITA SUD logo. This includes: Tabaccherie, newspapers stands, bars, caffés, shops from Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Salerno areas. Wherever there's a SITA bus station, there should be a place just around the corner to buy the needed tickets.

Journey duration
Remember that in summer (especially on weekends), the only road that runs the entire length of the coast is very busy. Buses will often become stuck in traffic and lose a lot of time meaning that they do not run to time.

Sorrento – Positano: 50 minutes.

Positano – Amalfi: 40 minutes.

Amalfi – Maiori: 20 minutes.

Maiori – Salerno: 60 minutes.

Amalfi – Bomerano: 40 minutes.

Amalfi – Ravello: 30 minutes.

Amalfi – Pontone: 20 minutes.

The Amalfi Coast is a 50 kilometre stretch of coastline along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula, in the Campania region. It’s a popular holiday destination, with sheer cliffs and a rugged shoreline dotted with small beaches and pastel coloured fishing villages. The coastal road between the port city of Salerno and clifftop Sorrento winds past grand villas, terraced vineyards and cliffside lemon groves.
