tried this with a friend in law school during a boring lecture once. he played a Smith Morra Gambit and I hung a piece on move 14. made the mistake of listening for a second to the lecture. blindfold chess isn't as hard as people think it is to play a medium-bad game with a bit of practice, but multitasking makes it nearly impossible in my experience.
