I'm definitely on Apple side. Don't be naive people, privacy as a fundamental layer of the structure of our society is bigger than a mass shooting is bigger than a lot of things.

I believe that the government should be allowed to impose a camera in every room in every house of America.

Turns out there wasn't shit on that phone. What a joke.

If someone else dies it would be on Apple's conscience.

"It's urgent" - that was a good one.

Calm down FBI. Respect the people for god sake. There are other ways to prevent.

I guess what I don't understand is why the FBI can't work with the Cell Carrier to obtain packet traces off their Network. Whether messages were deleted off a Server or not the traces would be another option

Why can't they hack into just that one phone and get the data, text messages, etc? Or the service provider to get the call recordings etc.

Honestly I'm torn. Yes I believe in the right of privacy, but at the same time, the phone may include data which may be essential to prevent another attack. Honestly, I can go either way.
