I've experienced the National Health System (NHS) in England. We absolutely loved it.
No waiting for treatment. Yes, there's waiting for hip replacements, but not life-threatening. My husband had shortness of breath. He was in in a nano-second. excellent care.

i got ill the other month. i went to thr local surgery, got treatment, was in and out in less than 45 minutes and didnt pay a penny
i havr asthma and need regular checkups and inhalers.
i went to my gp, got checked up, got a new inhaler, took under an hour and didnt pay a penny.

Kyle's right. We have universal healthcare in Australia, our economy is doing fine, and no-one needs to go untreated. Bernie is the man.
