Love how some of the Fortnite community is too spoiled they complain about anything. Then whenever Fortnite gives it to them they just outright switch up and say epic give up or they just don't want it anymore 😭😭😭

Edit: you guys don't have to keep playing the game IF you're gonna complain and still yet be disappointed with whatever content they push.

For anyone saying that they are worried about most people playing OG Chapter 1 and hardly anyone playing Chapter 6.

You don't need to worry about that. There is a wide variety of different Fortnite players that all like to play different modes. And the players that play Chapter 1 will also play Chapter 6 too. Like when Reload came out, I got bored after an hour of playing it so I played some Ranked Battle Royale. People like to mix it up a bit instead of playing the same thing for hours on end.

This is going to be extremely healthy for the game. It is going to make the game fresh everyday. People will have the choice to play Reload, or Chapter 1, or Chapter 6. ▪▪

Honestly, I'm slightly worried about this. It's exciting and all, but I just hope the fact this mode exists doesn't cause EVERYONE to literally stop playing the current/new seasons.

I just feel like this could quite literally make battle royale completely irrelevant, which im not completely excited about.

Why do they put fortnite festival into Battle royal and (almost) every live event? Please bring back normal live Events. With a storyline, and without concerts!!😥

The argument that it will divide the playerbase is stupid. Fortnite literally made 3 new game modes and update/promote them all the time, look at the scattered player counts not just from the official modes but also discovery, a main feature that you literally cant ignore. The playerbase is already split, some people come on the game to play BR and some come only to play festival. Adding something like this could potentially bring back more players and add even more variety. Fortnite was at its peak during that time, and the fact that they havent capitalised on that until recently is crazy! If they want to be a metaverse, this is the best way to do it. Let the players play whatever mode they want in fortnite.

idk how i feel about it honestly, the thing about OG is its a good memory, but its a memory... bringing it back monthly with nothing going on in the main game will make it feel soulless...

the reason chp 1 OG felt so good last year was because it felt like Fortnite chp 1, no collabs other than em at the last, it was like a love letter to all the long term players

this feel like another marketing season and i am scared if they will do something with the chapter 1 map to fit IPs in it... of not they might leave it which will just make it dry and boring, there is no win here

I wonder if they’ll use the old GUI and damage numbers for it, that would make it even better. I hate the updated damage number size and font (apparently a lot of people don’t like it) and I really miss how satisfying wins used to be

Maybe this has something to do with them putting old battle pass assets into the “offer catalog” folder.

Tbh I think that they are going to end up losing most of their fans to the OG Fortnite and the normal Chapters won't have enough of a playerbase for them to justify spending time on updating the base game with new maps and storylines. They are best off doing this but just cancelling of Chapter 6 and starting fresh with a new storyline and the Chapter 1 map, slowly updating it every season like they used to.

I'm gonna be honest I don't want OG to return. It will just lose its charm of the good old days due to it becoming more and more repetitive. It's like the value of an asset. The more there is the less the value becomes.

I am happy they are doing a permanent OG, but I would rather have chapter 2. I'm sorry, you can dress it up all you like rap music is pretty niche if you like rap, you will be happy with a rap live event at the end of the season, but I think the majority of people would rather have a storyline end of season event and keep concerts for during the season
