Program 12F683 with Microchip PICkit3 in Programmer-to-Go mode

A testament then to Microchip's production quality that none of the units has failed. Surely the chips are being reliably programmed, just not thoroughly verified. Yes, the end product does run off a battery, but the unstable lead-acid voltage is regulated down to a very stable 5v inside the unit using an LP2950 LDO regulator at low current. The PICkit 3 is a big step up from my first 'production' programmer which was a PICkit 1.

Hello, how would you set the configuration bits for a pic16f87A microcontroller,   - XT, WDT on?, if I have my own resonator at 20mhz. Not sure how to set the headers for my hardware, or if it's even necessary

where would you get the headers from? - is it just microchip.com, for delays and so on?....can I just use xc8 compiler and use c/assembly language>?

I have programmed PIC 12F683. Can I transfer the program to PIC 12F683 number 2? I have 16 programs running light! I want function 1 running light function 2 all 3 lights light up at the same time when I hold down the button when I release it again again again running light! Easy to fix? Has PICkit USB.

Love all the vids very informative I see you are using a Pic for your charger but you use ardino for other testing IE your new charger so is there a reason to change over from arduino to pic?
