Sir my mother's esr level is 132, and she has fever

My mother had fever. And all the reports for typhoid, malaria were negative. she was on antibiotics for 20 days.There were no other symptoms except fever. Now she doesn't have fever but her esr is still not normal, 30. although it dropped to during the course of medicine. But still it's not normal. although it was 90 before. it dropped to 30. Please help sir.what is the problem? She is also a type2 Diabetes mellitus patient. But the urine didn't show proteinuria.
