Using Electrical Stimulation Pre-op

Kara will be having ACL Reconstruction surgery in a couple of days and Ryan is using NMES - Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation - to help get her muscles firing stronger than she'd be able to do on her own, before her surgery. This will help strengthen the quad muscle and prepare Kara for a better rehab after surgery. NMES is a very effective treatment after surgery as well.

This is what they're having me do after surgery so my knee can get stronger because I lost 2 cm of muscle on my left knee due to acl surgery and the doctor said I need my knee muscle to get strong again! She had it on 10 and it wasn't bad at all! I am normally bad with pain tolerance but I tolerated it okay which I am glad because now it will help me! I think I was okay with it because surgery itself and my knee has been way more painful than this!! I am looking forward to healing!! Good luck to you, hope you do amazing!! 😇🥰

This is so annoying I already tried it once but I’m trying to get used to it. No wonder y they didn’t show her face mine was like… no we’re not talking about it
