Their parents bought it for them. Don’t worry you are doing fine.

It’s called parents and getting married. That’s not hard work. That’s privilege

At 16 and 17, there's no way they did this without the Bank of Mum and Dad.

I once read an article in an Australian newspaper about a 21 year old girl who had a 10 million dollar property portfolio and it went on about how the younger generation just needs to work harder to achieve, using her as an example of what can be achieve through hardwork. Then as you read on you find out that her father is a multimillionaire and he was the guarantor on all her loans. So what actually happened was, daddy help her get loans with his banking friends to the tune of 10 million that she used to buy property and then falsely claimed she did it all through hardwork. I get the feeling this is probably something like that.

Definitely helped by mommy and daddy. It took me until my 21st birtthday (3yrs) to get my 750 credit score and still didnt qualify for my mortgage without at least 15%-20% down. I was disgusted and quit all credit cards and started living within my means. After a hefty doc bill for an mri that I didn't need, neither my insurance nor docs could tell me charges beforehand but said I needed. Never paid them now. I have no credit, not negative, but I owe no one anything. Except utilities and will eventually have enough cash saved to buy a land and build what i can afford even if it's a large shed turned bungalow. And even then, I still have to pay the government yearly just to live on my own built home. Property taxes are just are just rental fees to the gov't.

I call bullsh**, ain't no way no 16 & 17 year old have worked enough to have a down payment for a house in 2024.

No bank would've giving these two a loan to buy that house. You need to be over 18 to start having a credit score to qualify for loans. This was definitely a Loan from "Daddy's bank of America".

People don’t seem to realize that there are places you can get a small 3 bedroom house for ~$100K in the Midwest in a good neighbor. You can also get jobs paying $30K a year. With a two person household, it’s very doable. With a FHA loan, they could easily save enough for a down payment and their parents could co-sign .

Thats nearly impossible but yeah sure. Idk why people won’t admit to having help. I’ve had it in my life, you should be happy about it.

I bought my first home at 21 with my then fiancé. And i thought that was crazy looking back! But it was 1998, and we both worked hard and saved our money. Prices now are just insane. I am sad for young people nowadays.

That’s wild it must be nice to have everything handed to you while the rest of us roll around in the dirt barely surviving half the time.

The full story is that he did buy the house himself, but only because he had the money from a job that was given to him by his father when he had absolutely zero experience or education in that field. He literally graduated high school and was handed a $250, 000 year job.

35:00 this attorney is awful. Statute typically excludes a defence of self-defence to those that provoke a conflict.

For anyone assuming the parents bought them this house, with the number of influencers out there now (alot are younger than these) its not out of the realms of possibility they could afford to buy that house, and even buy it multiple times over, but yes its very much most likely their parents bought the house for them

Good for them everything is just handed to them

Yeah ain’t no way they paid for that themselves.
