As a live performer, the features that would really stand out, would be a live looper that sets the tempo on first loop integrated seamlessly in the clip launcher, that would get a lot of people interested.. create sum buzz imo…Live performance features are the least developed in DAW’s even Ableton hasn’t added much in a long time for the “Live” element.

Btw would love to see some updated video tutorials. For example on how to use plugins that require audio and midi such as vocoders or hamonizers

Waveform 13 is pure gold, thank you for this amazing software. I am wondering why on my end, I can’t select the track colors as seen in the video? I prefer the ones in the video, but I only have the basic rainbow colors available.

Did they fix the tab'ing issue that if you enter a numeric value into a field such as volume or panning, hitting space bar [play] does nothing? That's been the biggest gripe in 12.

Can we please get uniquely coloured lanes (1 colour per note/sound) in step clips? My steps are all black and uninspiring. Not to mention difficult to differentiate.

Unfortunately (for me) Waveform is moving away from the way I'm using it - the oldfashioned recording and mixing for a rock band way. Apart from the tweak for the "armed" state of a track, I don't see a new feature that fits in my scenario.

Intriguing! Something new for me, I admit. Reminds me of Acid in the old days.
Two questions:
►Simply, could I use this in a live setting to run VSTis (Kontakt, Omnisphere, Decent Sampler, standalone VST instruments, etc)? I can't run Kontakt freely on my usual DAW as it chokes regularly (piano library using lots of sustain pedal).

►And how is the CPU drag on a laptop (Windows 10, 32GB RAM, i5Core). Thanks!

Hello Tracktion Team, I have wrote you last year this, have you fixed this problem in W 13? → "Do you can add in the next update a 1-2 step / command function, like other DAW`s to duplicating audio clips / MIDI notes, as example of 30 pieces with distance between.
Example, first bar = first audio clip → second + third bar = empty → fourth bar = second audio clip → fifth + sixth = empty → and so forth (duplicating 30x marked region inclusive empty space). Do you know what I mean?
In Waveform all techniques I`ve found to duplicating audio clips / MIDI notes are copy the clip, and paste it rightafter the original clip, without distance between (User Manual). That`s very frustrating. Other people in forums say that too.
