Here for Good EU Settlement Scheme Training: Working with the Homeless

This training provides advice and guidance on making EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) applications for the homeless. It will:
• Provide you with a brief overview of the EUSS;
• Discuss the main issues that you may encounter when assisting the homeless to make applications under the EUSS;
• Provide you with practical tips for supporting the homeless with their applications under the EUSS; and
• Take you through some case studies
The training was commissioned by the Greater London Authority and delivered by Here for Good. Here for Good is a charity which provides free, high-quality immigration advice to the most in-need EU, EEA and Swiss citizens and their family members living in the UK.
The presenters are Isabella Mosselmans, Joint-CEO of Here for Good and Carla Mirallas, Volunteer Coordinator/Immigration Lawyer at Here for Good/Bindmans LLP.
This training is designed for organisations and individuals:
• Qualified under the OISC Level 1 EUSS accreditation scheme;
• Qualified under the OISC Level 2 or 3 accreditation schemes who do not regularly advice on EUSS cases; and
• Providing frontline support services to vulnerable persons.
The training is up-to-date as of 18 September 2020.
