I find it lovely how quick tips is under 10 minutes. Not saying 10 minute videos are always bad but I love how your explanation is straight the point without unnecessary cuts to the face every sentence.

Just a macro shot to the camera on hands covering the full frame.

I love the m6 mark ii but when i used this in person it was wonderful to have such a tank of a body, i don’t know how much i would enjoy using it in the long term because i love mirrorless cameras like my eos m but these are the last DSLRs that i would buy, its such a beast. I love the feeling. I would even get a 1DX mark 3 because i want that patina over the years.

It's a great camera, no question, two decades of iterative improvement. The only downside is that you're buying into a dying system with fading lens support over time. This is almost certainly the last EF-S XXD camera from Canon. If you're just starting out, at the price this is selling, it makes sense to buy an RP or an R and invest in new RF glass. It's what Canon themselves would prefer that you do. I'm a Canon 80D owner with a dozen EF-S lenses, so it's nice to know there's at least something a few years newer that I'll be able to pick up refurb after I've worn out or broken my 80D, and keep using my lenses another decade. It would cost maybe $4-5k to replace my existing EF-S lens range in full frame, not to mention a new camera, so it just makes sense to use what I have. But if you're just starting out, get an RP with the excellent RF 24-105 or 24-240mm and the 35mm 1.8, for not much more than a 90D with a couple of lenses.

Hi Ken Thanks for the info and only discovered the 90D thanks to your channel.
I'm a technician and not a photographer and will never shoot 4K video, birds, glamour, anything that moves fast or the wonderful images that you always show as examples in your reviews.
I just want to shoot indoors on Building sites, renovations, insurance work, Pole Work and 360 tours using a camranger 2, an 8mm lens and a Nodal Ninja.
After all that, is the 90D a great camera for me or do I go for the Fujifilm X-T3 or Nikon Z50 as some sites will be low light?
Thanks to thee and your college of knowledge fans for any guidance. Cheers

I know you've reviewed a few Pentax cameras and lenses over the years, I'd love to see you do more if you're ever looking for something to fill the time - I love my Pentax equipment.

I bought a 90D it's a great camera! How does it go with the 50mm 1.2? I bought a used 135mm f2 L it's almost too sharp. I read your article on the 90D, what do you mean about linear resolution? Does the 90D have more resolution than the Sony A7rii? Thanks Ken - Dave

Hi Ken, can I ask your help if possible? Just bought the Laowa 105mm f2 'chipped' canon mount for my 90D a beautiful lens! Works great through the viewfinder but using live view won't fire, the screen goes black and says 'no contact with camera clean contacts'. I heard that if i take the chip off it'll work in live view. Have you done that or do you have any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!! Dave
