Shopping for art supplies in Germany ✿ Art Supply Haul!

In this cozy video I’m visiting one of my favorite art supplies stores in Europe: Listmann in Aachen, Germany! My Youtube channel got monetized in January of 2024 and I decided to spend my very first paycheck on art supplies so I can create another art supply shopping video and we can enjoy it together! Thank you so much for all of your support and for being here :)! In this video I’m going to travel to Germany, shop for art supplies and afterwards I will unbox everything with you in my art studio. As always, I am going to do a little demo and test the art supplies that I got at the store. I hope you’ll enjoy!

The rural areas of Germany from your train ride remind me a lot of the countryside where I used to live in the Shenandoah Valley of rural Northern Virginia, an hour or two from the very densely populated region of metro DC that includes Virginia & Maryland. (I now live in Md.) In fact, the Shenandoah Valley that includes parts of Shenandoah National Park, was first settled by Germans beginning in the late 18th century and beyond. No surprise that they were drawn to a similar looking area from their homeland. Thanks for this fun art supply tour w/ lovely glimpses of the gorgeous pastoral German countryside.

the bamboo mixed media paper from hahnemühle is my favorite paper for watercolor <3 i go through these tiny ones so fast xD but its so fun painting on them if you just wanna enjoy some colors without fear of the blank page =D
