The Ninja 400 is a great bike. It's really all the power you need for the street. Initially I thought about getting a tune and a plus one sprocket, but I'll probably just get a ZX-6R once I'm ready for more power.

I started on a 19 R3 absolutely loved that bike. Regret selling it sometimes but I’m enjoying my R6 now

Im just starting in this hobby. I went from wanting a little CRF125, to a 300LS, to KLR650s, to a Ninja 400, to a GSXR600, to an Indian FTR Rally. All in about 3 days. I think Im starting with the R3. Sure, the Ninja 400 is probably the better choice. But everyone and their little sister has a damn Ninja. Plus Im really diggin the R3 in the new Phantom Purple.

Bought a 2018 RC 390 yesterday as my first bike. Looking forward to running it for the next season or two. Funnily enough, I bought it as more of a daily rider than a track bike. Was still cheaper than an MT-03 which I originally wanted

Bought a 22 rc. 3 mths, 5k kms later no regrets, thing is so much fun, better handling than ninja, and here, cheaper than the abs ninja but add lean sensitive abs and adjustable shocks, made more sense. Literaly the only complaint is no bluetooth for sat nav, and i do 4-500 km runs and the seat hurts the butt after a couple of hours lol

Picking up my 2022 390 on Friday. Super stoked. Been a while since I had a bike. Last was a 92 gsx. It’s was heavy and not new. Excited to have a brand new bike in my garage. Thanks for the video.

So, what I'm hearing here is the Ninja 400 is the best option, especially at MSRP, but the RC390 and Ninja 400 are both great, and if you fit well on both of them the best option is whichever is cheaper/you like the best in terms of ergonomics, the way they look, or vibe they give off, (the way it looks is generally the reason I see people choosing the R3, but that one seems like the worst deal out of these options to me)

i love the ninja 400 its a great bike ive had mine for 3 years from new, still not bored of it handles like a dream, and a great machine to ride, i would recomend it, its very quick off the mark too, im just over 6ft tall and find it very comfortable, i hope the zx4r will be the same as i will be getting one later in the year

Thanks Papa yam! My gf is getting her motorcycle licence and hesitates between the Ninja and KTM, this should help!
(Happy I got a Ducati Scrambler as my first, couldn’t afford the turbo busa)

I had an R3 when they first came out. I believe I bought it after watching yummie on his red and white R3. Personally I believe with all the rider modes on the newer 600's a new responsible rider could easily start on a 600cc sportbike.

Literally just bought a 2023 Z400. Less than a week ago. Crazy sale for $4600. $5200 out the door with freight, taxes and title. I was totally going to buy used, but the deal was too good. My first bike in 20 years. I went back and forth many times and Choose wisely IMO.

I have the rc, great bike and lightest of the bunch (by a few kilos) and is definitely the best looking. Only thing i don't like is that it sounds like a dirtbike (especially when riding economically), since its a single cylinder

My first bike was a CBR250R & got into a bad accident that scared me off the saddle, years later I bought a ninja400. My confidence has never been any higher, I love the ninja400

“Which beginner bike is best for you!!” also Yammie, “IM GIVING AWAY A DUCATI!!”

I feel like yammy was actually mocking his viewers. Anyone else get that from the tone of this? yammy lowered himself to help us with this one. Thanks yammy.

I'm coming up on 1 month of riding now. I think I'll be happy with my bike forever honestly, but I want a sport/ naked bike just to be able to break 100mph lol and have something more nimble and better on gas.

I have a 97 Suzuki VZ800 Marauder now and it's great. Claimed numbers are like 50hp and 47ft.lbs, but it weighs over 450 lbs.
