Honestly, I think the power system is amazing. It is shown briefly though. The way Sung Jin Woo wore upgraded armor but it vanishes is very cool to me. Like an RPG power system.

You missed the fact that the absolute being was the reason for Ashborne's revival, he did die fighting the rulers. Ashborne upon realizing that the absolute being brought him back and has a plan he and no ruler understands, went to the throne of the absolute being to stop the rulers, finding that he was too late. Because of the betrayal he felt from his brethren, he joins the monarch and as someone who were rivals with the monarch of destruction, he took ashborne in, only to betray him since he is too powerful to be on anyone's side. After getting betrayed twice once from the rulers and now one of the monarchs', namely the white flame demon king, he stands on the battlefield asking for his ruler brethren to strike him down and finish the job, only for them to kneel and cry in front of him, asking for forgiveness and his help in stopping the war. He left both sides to think and decide for himself.

These details are from the LN and was explained by Ashborne himself when he gave everything to Sung and Belial, the strongest and most loyal subordinate/follower from even before the rulers betrayed ashborne and the absolute being.

I don't care what the solo leveling haters say . I love the solo leveling story, it's simple and epic . Not to mention, the anime is following the Light Novel, not the Manhwa, so the story will be more flushed out and better than the Manhwa

Let’s not forget it started out as a book that was my preferred way of reading it .the baddassness transcends image as the sovereign of the dead kicks ass . It was so detailed and well paced it was like watching a movie 4 minutes a day for years

Whats cool is that igris, a member of the shadow army was able to make the frost monarch tremble in fear. Theres literally beru and bellion on Sung Jinwoo's side by chugong put a lot of emphasis on Igris

They killed Ashborne, he fell to the bottom of death and there a seed planted by the creator activated. He became the ruler of death, because the creator set that up. That's how it was in the LN. All the powers he got were made by the creator.

7:23 i want to say that the absolute being did not tell the monarchs nor the rulers ro defend or attack earth in anyway shape or form, earth was just caught in the cross fire between the war of the monarchs and rulers, atleast from what i know i only read the manhwa

9:35 also you missed the fact that the absolute being was the reason why Ashborne was even revived in the first place and also the reason why he got his new abilities, Ashborne did not get the Abilities by joining the monarchs he got it by trying to stop the rulers from killing the absolute being

Having seen the first two episodes and have been craving more knowledge without spoiler too much for myself, this video is really good. Starters to the series already kind of know that the MC is going to be granted power from one of the most powerful god like characters, but we get to go in with a bit of lore which is nice.

I feel like the story telling is just more subtle then everything being explained with asides. I think the main character character development is very thought out. I'm loving every second of the show. I've watch season 1 three times and season 2 each episode twice.
