In the summer of 2020, canon released the C300 MK III . This camera was designed with small/solo documentary productions in mind without compromising on features, but that didn't come without a price. The C300 Mark III was priced at $10,999 when released, which pushed it away from many video producer's minds based on what other cameras were offering around the same time. Flash forward to 2025, we now have the C400 and C80 knocking down the resale value of the C70/C300 Mark III dramatically. Dude, this is such a good camera still, super underrated, holds up to much more expensive cameras like the Venice and Red's. I used to own this camera but it actually got stolen, but at this price I would 100% pick another one up :) keep creating videos dude!

I use the c300 Mark III on all my movies, in my opinion it’s still Canons best camera at least if you’re making a feature film.

Nice. I shoot with a C400 and a C70. I've had many different Canon's. I'm a fan. When shooting some white people they have a magenta push. I've found it's the person. Not the camera. I noticed when I had 2 white folks in the frame when one guy was "pinkish" and the other looked spot on. But they were both spot on just totally different ones. That's all. The client that has that pink look I know to shift the tones in camera. That's after using a grey/white card. It is what it is...

I can’t wait to buy one. I’m deciding between the C70 and this. I have the new c80 but the more I look at the lineup, this is the sensor I want.
