How to put Samsung washer on just a spin cycle

Here is a tip to just spin your washing if it's still quite wet. This can be difficult for technophobes.

On mine, you have to hold the spin button for 3 seconds then choose the time. But I just tried it and it sprays water at the beginning. I wanted it to just spin longer to dry a load more that had finished. I'll try the rinse and spin dial without water and check.
Update, it wants to wash it before skipping the rinse
