10x+y-(x+y)=9x If x = 1 then 9x = 9, therefore removing 9 cards and landing in the 10th position each time. Love it.

Great trick!!! It’s even better if you can “lose” the two cards you picked starting out. I simply use the “I’m trying to PUSH these cards into the middle, ” (your deliberately pushing cards out of the middle from behind”while having a pinky break at the ninth spot. Then give it a few false shuffles…….they’ve “seen” you place the cards in the middle, and then shuffled the deck several times, and then you perform THAT TRICK……blow their minds even more.

Great trick, what about using blank deck and put your force cards in position's 10 & 11 then tell them if they had picked different numbers you wouldn't matched 😉 showing a blank deck.

I'd sneak a peak at 10th and 11th position while doing a shuffle. Then write a prediction and have it on the table the whole time. Boom, the spectators two cards match my prediction at the start.

It's just a simple math equation!!! Magicians use dice and rolls instead of random spectators... Makes the trick even more believable!!

I think saying you'll do this to increase randomness is bound to raise suspicion, because it obviously does the exact opposite. Gotta come up with a better excuse. Even just something stupid like "what's your favorite number between 10 and 20?"

i was more impressed with the fake cut when you first started the card trick than the actual card trick...

I couldnt understand exactly how this trick works. But then i went slow and evaluated the trick keeping special attention on the placement of the two aces in the deck. Its clever because when you find the first card (which is the one you placed in the tenth placement)the card before it is the other card. You then take the other 9 cards you didnt deal and place them on top of it, thus making it the 10th card again. No natter which number between 10 and 20 (not including 20 though, am i right???) they choose, adding the two digits when the first digit is 1 means you are always grabbing the tenth card from the top.
