The great thing about unboxing videos tend to me the brutally honest reactions.😅🤷 This is no exception. Honestly, I didn't feel particularly pretty in either dress, but the last one is definitely going back. 😑

Third time's the charm?

Anyhow, because of the price and the variety, I definitely would consider purchasing again and will bring you a long when I do!!

I personally am a big fan of Heartmycloset. They offer custom size dresses, in vintage styles and variety of colors. They are bit pricer but the fabric quality is top notch (I wash them in washing machine). I have over 10 dresses and 6 suits from them. Also no problem with shippment (I order internationaly).

I have more than 25 dresses from Eshatki that I am absolutely in love with. I have a smaller bust with thicker waist and I order from the standard sizes. If you have a size that you like from department stores, go with that. About 12 of my dresses are shirt dresses. Try again.

Every dress that I got from them was huge in the bust area and arm holes (standard sizing). The skirts, however, were true to size.

I recently did exactly the same thing and was stuck with store credit. I would recommend ordering a couple of skirts.

I think that black dress is divine and such a bummer that they seemed to mess up the sizing. Makes me think your measurements might have been an in between size and the maker decided to err on the side of caution. Any good tailors in your area? And I really want to know the rest of that FedEx banished from your property story. 🙃

I made the mistake of trying to do my own measurements. The results looked distorted but that was my fault. I had a few Eshakti dresses that were just perfect but I wore them out quickly. The blue landscape print looks beautiful on you. I wonder if a crinoline would work under the black dress?

I haven't ordered from eShakti yet but I thought they had a fit guarantee on your first or first three purchases. Sad to hear that this isn't the case.

They had both a staffing issue and two trucks of fabric were damaged unfortunately - I wish they would post this publically though because they have only disclosed that to customers that were actually able to get them on the phone

I would rather items are to big rather than to small. If the quality of the black dress is as beautiful as it looks-I would inquire at a seamstress about altering it-at 48 dollars it might be an option. Thanks for sharing

Awww Yes I have to agree. The fact that you gave them custom measurements these should not look so frumpy. Along with the bad customer service. Mehhh I'm sorry. I am thankful that you tried this out but I think that would be a no from me.

Your definition of "big" is very different than mine... I thought the dresses looked great, except maybe for the shoulders of the black dress.

I've ordered a couple times from eShakti in the past and did not have issues with shipping/delays. My understanding is the recent issue was a one-off.
