Elections Exit Poll Results 2022: In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP is seeking another mandate with Yogi Adityanath as its chief ministerial face. The BJP had bagged 312 of 403 seats in the 2017 UP polls, followed by the Samajwadi Party with 47, BSP with 19 and Congress with 7. In Punjab, the Congress won 77 of 117 seats in the previous assembly elections, followed by the AAP with 20, Akali Dal with 15 and BJP with 3. Congress is betting on CM Charanjit Singh Channi to return to power in Punjab. In Uttarakhand, where the BJP is projecting Pushkar Singh Dhami as its CM candidate, the party had managed to win 56 of 70 seats in 2017, followed by the Congress with 11. In Manipur, CM Biren Singh is seeking another term for the BJP. The BJP had won 21 of 60 seats in Manipur in the previous assembly elections, while the Congress won 28. In Goa, the BJP has stuck to CM Pramod Sawant who is also seeking a second term. The BJP had won 13 of 40 seats in the 2017 Goa polls, while the Congress had managed a victory on 17 seats.
