I got your taste in my mouth
I can’t stand it. I’m so strung out
I got your touch on my hand
I still feel it. Oh, baby, I’m your man
I can’t wait to see you.
Nothing here could be you.
I can’t wait all by myself
I can’t wait to see you
Nothing here could be you
I can’t wait all by myself

We’ve got sunny winter days
And I wanted to see you
And laughter in the pain
And I wanted to see you
And everything changed
And I wanted to see you now
Oh, they’ve taken everything
And I wanted to see you
and I wander through the day
And I wanted to see you
And it’s hard to stay away
I wanted to see you now.

I got your voice in my song
I still hear it. It won’t be long
I got your love on my mind
I still feel it. Oh, give me one more time
I can’t wait to see you.
Nothing here could be you.
I can’t wait all by myself
I can’t wait to see you
Nothing here could be you
I can’t wait all by myself

I grew up with punk shit since my parents were punks in the 80's. My mom had a crush on Jack Grisham since she was 14. Eventually she became a show promoter and they became friends. He dedicated a song to her at a show after she passed, but I wasn't there to see it. This song reminds me of her now. I'm still mad at her even though she's gone, but I miss her like hell. I wish she were still here...

One of the things I liked most about TSOL is that every album never sounded the same. They always keep changing things up and kept you wonder what's next.

Man when bands grow old together its as sweet as watching an old couple who have been married for so long, punk on an on and on!

My wife and I and a couple friends are in this video, I've known the band since the 80's and have documented several TSOL gigs for them that are at my channel. This song grows on you, and pulls on your heart strings and you can't shake it. Job accomplished.
Very well written.

Sometimes old people like me get old and mellow out.
Beautiful intro.

Great song. Dislikes are from angry punks who demand that their favorite bands create the same type of sound every single album.

I grew up in OC and saw TSOL many times early on. I even liked the Joe Wood era but always favored Jack's version. Through many years, trials, hardships, etc Jack and the boys have come through it and imho this new album The Trigger Complex is the best thing they have done since Beneath The Shadows...in fact I think its BETTER than BTS by a mile...I wandered into the recording studio where my band records to pick up my masters from the producer and TSOL were in studio recording these tracks. I sat and listened for a bit and was thrilled because it hearkened back to their best years sound-wise to me at video and song makes me extremely happy. I have been playing guitar with SoCal gothic bands since the mid 80s and still am and no other band from SoCal has had a bigger impact on me from a guitar standpoint except possibly Mike Ness of SD...this is a great "comeback" album from a matured, wiser yet still a bit angsty TSOL...I have about six TSOL tee shirts and whenever I wear them out, I get more nods of approval and comments about them than I do when wearing much more commercially popular band tees like Bauhaus, Sisters, Smiths, etc....TSOL ARE LEGENDS!! I interview Jack when I was a writer for TapouT Magazine and I consider him a friend and there is no one more appreciative of his fans than Jack is....a tireless worker, a brilliant mind, a deep thinker, a kind and thoughtful man despite his rep, say enough great things about this band....

Kurt Cobain said in an interview that TSOL's first album was his favorite album of all time! True Story!!!

What's with all the negativity? I think it's great that they are still rocking through all their trials and tribulations. My hats off to you Jack!

Jack and the boys did so well. Love TSOL. I didn't like it when I first heard it.. but now it's all growing on me. If you see this Jack take TSOL to Atlanta!

I saw Jack and TSOL at Alex's bar in Long Beach before the lockdown, last year in early March...Two good warm up bands were great as

I'm very surprised and pleased to read most of the comments from this album. I REALLY expected to hear the majority of people label TSOL as sellouts. Or not being "punk enough" anymore. Whatever the hell that means. They've gone through multiple lineup changes and have been slowly evolving over decades. Their sound has come a long way from those early 80's releases, and I think that's the sign of a healthy and mature band. I'm glad there are many fans that can appreciate that and not just expect every single song to sound exactly the same. That's boring as hell. Not to mention stagnant and uninspiring. Every one of their lps has been unique. And every one has been enjoyable in it's own way. I hope they continue to progress as a band and I'm looking forward to hearing what's next.

I enjoy this album quite a bit. It's definitely not as aggressive as Dance With Me or Disappear, but the songs are catchy as hell. One of the fun things about TSOL is that throughout their career they have changed their sound on several occasions. Beneath the Shadows is one of my absolute favorites, but it's very different from anything else they ever did.

Great Song, it
realy gets me to cry….great Album too. I grew up with punk from the
early hours...Damned, Stranglers, Ramones etc. I discovered T.S.O.L. first on
the „American Youth Report“ Sampler in 1982 or 83 in my little Hometown Record
Shop in Western Germany, in the Import Record Section. I was like 17 or 18
years old and the Musik on this Record with other Bands like the Flesheaters,
Adolescents, Hypnotics, RF7… was raw and new to me and inside was the sheet with the
Lyrics to  the Songs. I realy could
relate to the „Sounds of Laughter“. The „Dance with me"  LP was always one of my favorite Records of all
time… Years and years goes on and T.S.O.L. changes their Members and Musik, myself,
I am chanching, the World changes. A few Years ago a very good friend of mine
gave me the „Disapear“ CD as a Birthday present and i was blown away and hooked
to this Band again, i ordered me the "Divided we stand" another
great Album…. After that I have seen the Band live, in a tiny Club in
the Netherlands in 2011 in Front of maybe 25 People and it was Great! Ron played the Guitar in a way that i
thought he plays two Guitars at once…totally amazing. After the show i
spoke to Jack and the Band and they are very friendly and nice to everyone.
Last summer i saw them in Cologne together with CH 3, MDC and the Adolescents
but jack and his Boys were the best! I talked to Jack again and he autographed me
one of the books he wrote and it was a great evening. Last week i got the new
album on Vinyl and since i heard it every day. These Guys are truely working
Class poeple and got the free spirit of Rock n´roll! I love their Musik and
there Lyrics. I hope they will come back on tour to Europe…so I CAN SEE THEM
AGAIN.

I've always been very fond of TSOL since they first hit the scene. Amazing band and no rock star mentality.
